Our story

Designed by a mother of 7, for busy mums everywhere

With seven kids, a calendar on the fridge and a phone full of notes was never going to cut it. Sorted Family was built out of necessity — school notes, sport, appointments, bills, dinners and the never-ending shopping list, all in one place instead of all in one mum's head.

Every part of it started as something she actually needed that day: snap the bill so it is not forgotten, scan the groceries so nobody buys milk twice, plan the week's dinners in a minute, and hand jobs to the rest of the family so the load is shared. If it did not make a busy mum's day easier, it did not make it in.

Made for busy mums everywhere and the families they hold together.

Everything, in one place

Everything your household runs on

A one stop shop for the organising: the things you juggle every week, in one place that everyone can see.

  • One family calendarWork shifts, school, sport, appointments and birthdays together — with reminders you can send to just you, your partner, or both.
  • Bills, never a surpriseSnap a bill and it reads the amount and due date for you. See what is coming, who is paying and what is already done.
  • Shopping that saves moneyScan a barcode or photograph an item and it lands on your list in the right aisle section, then compares the price across your shops so you buy where it is cheapest.
  • Receipts that do the workPhotograph a receipt and the real prices are saved, so every comparison from then on is your prices, not guesses.
  • Meal plans on requestSay what is in the fridge, how many nights and who is fussy, and get the week's meals with photos, step-by-step method and a shopping list.
  • To do lists and choresJobs that repeat, whose turn it is, stars for the kids and hand-offs between partners so nothing sits in one person's head.
  • Cars and the houseRego, servicing, insurance, filters, smoke alarms — reminders before they turn into a problem.
  • Ask it anythingA daily family briefing and a helper that answers questions about your own week, list and bills.

Your household data stays private to your household.

One household, one price

Mum, Dad and the kids — nobody pays twice.

Sorted Family is priced per household, not per phone. You are not buying seats and you are not paying again when your teenager wants it on their phone too.

  1. 1One of you subscribes.Whoever sets the family up pays $4.99 a month — that is the whole household covered.
  2. 2Everyone else joins by invitationSend an invite from inside the app. Your partner, the kids and anyone else you add pay nothing, ever.
  3. 3Own login each, one shared familyEverybody adds SORTED to their own phone with their own sign-in, so reminders reach the right person and you choose what the kids can see.

Sharing one login is not needed — and not recommended. Separate logins are what make reminders, permissions and “whose turn is it” work.

How to put SORTED on your phone

There is nothing to download from an app store. Add it to your home screen once and it opens full screen with its own icon, just like any other app — and keeps working when you have no signal.

iPhone and iPad

  1. 1. After paying, open the link in Safari and sign in.
  2. 2. Tap the Share button at the bottom of the screen.
  3. 3. Choose “Add to Home Screen”.
  4. 4. Tap “Add” — the SORTED icon appears on your home screen.

Android
